Clear View Mental Health Counseling is passionate about providing equitable, accessible, and culturally inclusive mental health care to our clients, especially those who are new to therapy. Our goal is to facilitate meaningful change and guide each person towards a clearer, more fulfilling path forward.

We are looking for a dedicated mental health counselor to join our group practice. The successful candidate will be committed to providing high quality behavioral healthcare services.

Role Features

• No minimum caseload (we consider full time to be at least 25 sessions per week)

Compensation

• Paid for no-shows and late cancelations

Minimum Requirements

• Be licensed by and are in good standing with the State of New York to provide mental health counseling services (e.g., LMHC, LCSW, LMFT)

• Minimum 2 years experience working with adult and adolescents

• Regular access to a private and professional place to hold HIPAA-compliant telemedicine video and phone sessions

• Ability to be credentialed on insurance panels (requires individual NPI number and CAQH account)

• Maintain individual malpractice insurance

• Strong understanding of EHR platforms

Qualifications

• Knowledge and understanding of mental health counseling principles, methods, procedures and standards

• Knowledge of legal and ethical issues related to clients' rights

• Ability to provide culturally competent care to meet the needs of our diverse client base including but not limited to first-time therapy seekers, BIPOC, LGBTQ+, immigrant and first-generation Americans, etc. (goodness of fit for both client and therapist is always a priority)
